18 Go Mad in Tibet (2009)

An overland bus trip across the Tibetan plateau is a microcosm of society in itself.  Follow the pleasures and pitfalls of such a voyage through the eyes of its passengers, including the film maker himself.

Starting in Beijing, and finishing up in Kathmandu, a group of mostly English tourists are subjected to the indignities of altitude sickness, food poisoning and fatigue as the journey takes in some of the roughest terrain in Asia, climaxing in a night at Everest base camp.  (72 minutes)
